The Coolest Features of the New Google Pixel 4

Is the Google Pixel 4 the Android you’re looking for? Check out the coolest features this release has to offer and decide for yourself:

Hands-off, hands down

Touch-free controls are by far the best feature of the Google Pixel 4. Motion Sense™ is a new technology in Pixel 4 that lets you control features of your device with just a wave of your hand above the screen¹. Skip a song or silence a call while you drive. Or silence a timer while you cook, keeping those sticky hands off your screen. Soon, waving to control your phone will become second nature.

Fewer spam calls

The only thing more annoying than actually getting a phone call is when the caller is a robot. The updated Google Assistant Call Screen2 filters out Robocall and spam before your phone even rings, keeping you focused on what’s important, like finding the perfect filter.

Smooth scrolling

The Google Pixel 4’s screen refreshes between 60 and 90 times per second, so scrolling, transitions, graphics and gaming are all extra crisp and clear. Plus, Ambient EQ adapts colors to your surrounding light conditions, so the screen looks more natural and goes easier on your eyes.

Save your energy for the good stuff

The Pixel 4 even found a way to make your battery use more effective. Adaptive Battery reduces power to the apps you don’t use very often and saves the juice for your faves3.

Point and shoot for the perfect photo

The Pixel line has always been renowned for its incredible camera specs, and the latest model is no exception. The best new camera feature is Live HDR+ with Dual Exposure, which lets you adjust highlights and shadows manually before you take the picture. It even works with photos taken on your favorite apps.

Frequent Faces

Get the best shot of your kid at the recital, not the kid in front of them. The new Frequent Faces feature automatically focuses your photos on people you photograph a lot, so you always get the best pics to share with Grandma.

Shoot (for) the stars

Taking pictures in darkness or low light often means low quality, but Night Sight mode helps you capture rich, colorful detail – no flash needed. And with Astrophotography, photos of the night sky come out crystal clear.4

To get the most out of the new Google Pixel 4 release, consider upgrading to an unlimited plan from U.S. Cellular.
